Important Updates

Greetings all,

The March meeting is cancelled. Our next meeting will be on April 25th at 6 pm at UAB SON in the Nightingale room and via zoom for those that cannot be physically present. The zoom link is always the same, but will be sent out with the itinerary the week of the meeting. 

If you are participating in the Hispanic community service opportunity this Saturday, March 23rd from 12p-4p. If possible, please arrive by 11:40a to help with set up.

The event will take place at Miles Thomas Field at 1104 Rocky Brook Road, Opelika, AL 36801. 

Timeline of events:

• 12p-2p Lunch, soccer, face painting, resource fair, games, etc
• 2p Volunteers to set out Easter Eggs
• 2:10p Easter Devotion and prayer – then directions provided for the Easter Egg Hunt
• 2:30p Easter Egg Hunt
• 3:30p Food boxes for families
• 4p End/Clean up

The health fair will start at 12p and continue throughout the event. For the health fair component of the event, we will provide health and dental screenings, point of care testing, flu vaccines and education. 

As of today,  300 people that have registered to attend.  

If you need transportation, I will be driving and have space for 3 additional people to ride down with me. Please contact me at (205) 753-1586 and we can plan to meet at the summit by Panera Bread. 

Please wear scrub pants and NAHN T-shirt.
