See below regarding the All of Us Research Program our chapter will be participating in.

The All of Us Research Program is a historic effort to gather data from one million or more people living in the United States to accelerate research and improve health. By taking into account individual differences in lifestyle, environment, and biology, researchers will uncover paths toward delivering precision medicine.

As discussed at our chapter meeting last week, we will be meeting at Railroad Park on Sunday, May 6th from 2-6 pm, for the Launch event/community block party. This will be an interactive experience, with a one-hour speakers program, and about 15 vendors. The goal of this event is to show case the multicultural tapestry of Birmingham.  As such, our chapter has been given a booth by UAB J and we will be available to provide information about the program in Spanish. We will also have water bottles we will sell for $1 (fundraiser).

For those that volunteered to help at the booth on May 6th, or to help with the three community outreach efforts to inform the Hispanic community of the All of Us Research Program, please plan to attend the webinar below to become familiar with the program. Also, our National President and chapter member, Norma Cuellar, will be hosting a meeting on April 26 at 8:00 EST and has requested every chapter member make an effort to be available to participate. Please save the date and stay tuned for more information.
