Position Description

Position: Regional Travel Nurse - Registered Nurse RN or Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Michigan based, travel to current ACH jail facilities throughout territory

Hours: Full-Time, Salaried Position

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an energetic and collaborative Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who has a demonstrated track record of providing outstanding patient care, supervising and evaluating other nurses, scheduling work assignments and setting priorities, and identifying staff development and training needs.

Critical to the success of the Full-time Regional Travel Nurse is the ability to demonstrate critical thinking, build strong relations with employees and clients, work independently and travel frequently. The applicant will be a goal-oriented, driven individual with superior communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. You’ll work as part of a team, along with support staff and corrections staff, where communication and cooperation are key to success.

In this role, you will care for an underserved population in a correctional medical environment while working alongside law enforcement to solve problems for our patients and clients. This challenging and rewarding work requires great communication skills, critical thinking, and emotional strength.

REQUIREMENTS

· Currently licensed to practice nursing in state of hire

  • Current CPR certification
  • Clear background check
  • References
